Our vision behind CoTown

Grégoire Piette, founder of CoTown, has long been passionate about harnessing technology to inspire citizens to actively contribute to their communities. Since his student days, he has dedicated himself to using technology to enhance civic participation and engagement. In 2018, he launched CoTown in Heerlen (Netherlands), where the platform quickly made an impact by fostering local collaboration and social innovation. Today, CoTown is headquartered in Maastricht (CoTown BV) and Marseille (CoTown SAS), and Grégoire continues to expand its reach to other cities and countries. His mission remains clear: to create sustainable, inclusive communities where citizens, businesses, and governments collaborate for a better future.
